Where
do you get a Monster Brain GS? I've looked in all of my local stores, but
no go. I really want to get one. How much are they?
the
GBCP looks cool...
foy
- Super SaiyaMew
Philip:
I got it at Wal-Mart.
Have
you ever played StarCraft its really fun oh I was wondering when you were
going to get the Pallet Gym fanfics in the fanfics section of the pokedex
because I'm a big fan of all the Pallet Gym fanfics - Master2.0
Philip:
Have you checked out the "memorial" link? I'm working on it so.. it'll
be cool, later. ^_^
I
read your stuff on the GBA concept screenshots, and I have to say Square
would be stupid not to update some of those games for the next gen Nintendo
portable. Crono Trigger was one of my favorite RPG's and I'd love
to see it portable. Well anyway, as a first time DMG'er I have to
say you guys know your stuff. And since my letter thus far has me
having to say something, I'll say this, keep kicking butt and bringing
us a non "Sony brainwashed" perspective. Ive been to sites that think
the PSONE with the screen is going to beat out the GBC in the portable
market. To that I say "yeah right". And I think its great to
find a site that thinks the same. Thanx for your time. - darrell
the dmgice newbie
Philip:
Cool. Thanks for reading the site. ^_^
Now,
you may not post this, and i'm not trying to persuade anyone into following
my beliefs, but... I am not a satan worshipper, or a listener of heavy
meatal, but, I think that religeon is just not right. Wars have been started
over so many little relogeous hootenannies, that it's time to stop. I think
religeon is just a bunch of people confused about life, so they try to
make up something that kind of explains it all. Now, in My Book, ($4.27
at Chapters!) I think that the idea of God being a single, omnipotent force
is a little bit loose. I believe that God existentially exists within us
all, in a metaphysical sense. (but I'm nutty!) I also believe in evolution.
Just think. I know how you might think that Darwin's theory is a bit funky,
but think about it... so some super creator man dude says "Hey, man, I
want a gecko." Then, POOF! It just doesn't make sense to my scientifically
tuned brain. And if God created everything, then what about Buddha? And
those greek dudes? Who's right? Just because you're brought up believing
something doesn't make it 100% true. What if Dad keeps telling you that
eating rice will kill you instantly since you were born? then you tell
your friends, then, later, your kids, and so on for a million years? I
guess rice is evil now! Is that true? I know Jesus was a real guy, but
he DIDN'T really walk on water. On the discovery channel they showed how
it was done. MIRAGE. He was walking in heat waves. And, if Jesus were around
today instead of two-thousand years ago, people would probably think he
was starting a crazy cult. And the Devil is the root of all evil, but then
he makes a stupid move by keeping all the sinners out of heaven. Ha, ha!
Satan's a pretty stupid guy! That's my story, and I have a right to an
opinion. who knows? Maybe I'll be as made fun of as that sexist retard
Tripedox is at Rareware.net by you. Thank you for listening. - Mr. Panda
Philip:
If you can not spell religion, should you be commenting on it? I think
that you lack something. That thing is logic. If you believe a TV Show
that was made months ago; why should you doubt a book written over thousands
of years ago? Reading from your comments, I can determine that you are
a religious person. That religion is Humanism. If the comment that religion
is stupid should be trusted; would that make you stupid for being of the
Humanism religion?
Playing
Donkey Kong Country GBC...it's like I remembered it, you can even slap
the ground and get bananas in the same places as the SNES version! I was
pretty disappointed with the music though. In some places it brings back
old happy memories, but in other's I can't quite place it. Guess there's
only so much you can do with gameboy music. I'll send you a review with
more information later, I've only put about 2
hours
in so far. There are some new features.... - pikamom
Philip:
Cool! I'm waiting for my copy to arrive in the mail. I'm also playing Harvest
Moon GBC 2. It's an awesome game.
Philip,
good news about the shark mx. My copy was defective. After multiple tries
to communicate with gameshark.com that I could send e-mail and recieve
their newletters, but could not recieve any outside e-mail, they finally
told me to exchange my shark mx. I did and this one works!!! But alas,
I could not keep my original e-mail address. I'd
appreciate
it if you could change the address in my review since I asked any reader
to send mail to my gameboy. The new address is just about the same with
just a 1 tagged on behind. pikamom1@gamesharker.com
PS.
this is the third shark mx I've had. The first one was so defective that
I could not boot up anything, the nintendo logo was scrambled. I returned
that one and had the problem I just described, but now I think I got a
good one. I've never had any problem with any nintendo product, but they
told me at the store that gameshark products are not licensed by nintendo.
That would explain the lack of quality. - pikamom
Philip:
Woah! Twice in a row! Interesting story. ^_^
will
their ever be a wario land 4 website that will show all the levels? - lewisrawcliffe
Philip:
Probably. But for now, there aren't even screenshots.
I
got a Lugia *does Lugia dance* - Slim Shady
Philip:
That's disturbing...
That
Sock Monkey thinks quite a bit... perhaps it is really Mojo jojo plotting
a way to get rid of the Powerpuff Girls... - Masamune
Philip:
Oh.. really.... that is not true that Sock Monkey is Mojo Jojo plotting
to kill the Powerpuff Girls and make them dead and gone like Mojo Jojo
would plot to do. Not at all is this true. False and not correct is the
assumption you are making; because you made it and it is not true. Or something.
I
got Final Fantasy IX. It's really a lot like FF3. You can use 4 people
at the same time, Moogles, all characters are either short or animal. It's
a good RPG, however. Good storyline. - Aipom
Philip:
Interesting...
Flaming
Moose wonders how Philip uses strategy guides. Does he (A)buy it
when he gets the game and use it all the way through? Does he (B)use
it only on very difficult parts? Does he (C)use it only to find all
the secrets? Or (D)does he insist on beating the entire game without
touching one?
Flaming
Moose is a C...but only after beating the game normally. - Flaming Moose
Philip:
Depends on the game. (D) for some games. (C) for Link's Awakening.. I had
ordered it because I was stuck; but when it got there.. I had already beaten
the game and was missing one heart piece. So I used it to find that Heart
Piece. I have never done (A).. although I did do (B) for Tomb Raider GBC.
I
was playing Majora's Mask and I just thought where did the love go? - SuperSmashBlu
Philip:
Anju and Kaffee are hogging it.
Remember
Crabby in Great Greed? He reminds me of Al Gore in the way he manipulates
polls, and even in the personality. I wouldn't even be suprised if Al turned
into some sort of crab looking monster thing too. - Robin
Philip:
I know.. I was playing it yesterday and thought that myself. ^_^
ever
play any legend of Zelda game and think you are proggressing to quickly?
It happens to me too much,I remember playing link to the past and thinking
"whoa... i can already change diminsions?" In Majora`s mask it is happening
again, i got my horse, zora mask and hookshot, i`m scared i will find a
boss in the temple that requires a special item that i have to backtrack
to get it...... creepy - pikalo
Philip:
I had to backtrack and complete several things and get more hearts and
bottles.. before I could beat the Third "Official" Dungeon's Boss... Gyorg..
evil.
Sea-Monkeys
will rule the world and no-one can stop them! HAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!!!!!!!
- Nitro
Philip:
YAY!
I
just clipped my birds' wings. Always fun. You know how funny it is to clip
one wing but not the other? When the bird takes off, it just kinda flops
over. I clip both wings though so it could fly straight. It's always great
watching the bird trying to get away with its life and flies as much as
it could... and lands 2 feet from you. They're such cute birds. They were
flying around the house though, we had to cut their wings. Maybe I could
let them grow again and send them to your house with a message or something.
Not sure if they could do that though. Birds are so helpful. I remember
that time when the fended off that bear and saved our house. Wait, no,
that was Old Yeller. Oh forget it. What does being affiliated with IGN
do for you rather than drive traffic to your site? - Ramzi
Philip:
Nifty.
MSTing
the Icebox: Origins? I'm on it! ::seems way too anxious to do this sort
of thing:: ^_^ Been waitin' to MST somethin'... heh heh heh... (God Bless
the Writers of the First Amendment.) - Crow Servo Bee Junior (better known
as just Crow)
Philip:
Neat.
Umm...
I don't think T. Tex is coming out in the US. I can't seem to find
sites where it can be ordered... - Aaron Tabak
Philip:
On that note.. try finding a Nuby Cobra Light at an online retailer.. or
a Monster Brain. Hard, ain't it. Also try pre-ordering a copy of Harvest
Moon GBC 3 which is due out Summer 2001.
I
was out doing Orochi p_fish things the other day when a thought came into
my head, "You should send Philip lots of money."Naturally, I thought it
was a good idea, so I made out a check and was about to mail it off when
another thought came into my head, "You should send Philip lots of money."
This was strange because I was already going to do just that, so I decided
that some Virii were trying to mind control me, and I now live happily
out here in sunny california. - Orochi p_fish
Philip:
Darn... send me lots of money.
I've
owned you for months, Noble Dreamcast. You've been playing quality games
on my TV since September 9, 1999. Bless your circuts, little friend. Now
I can only wait intill Christmas when many more games shall be sitting
next to your humble libary of games. Shenmue! Shenmue! Shenmue! Yay! Course,
soon after, there will be Phantasy Star Online! Double Yay! And, then in
Febuary, less then a week after my birthday, it's back to my N64 to hail
the king of gaming, Mario. He may be paper, but he's still going to kick
ass. :) No fear, though. There is plenty of gaming love`n for the both
of you. - Salohcin Geen
Philip:
Nice!
yes,
after 2 months of playing ultima online, jumbo is back! jumbo will now
proceed to play more ultima online! - jumbo
Philip:
Leave bunnies alone!
Yesterday
in Japanese class... We watched some of Princess Mononoke in Japanese and
ate rice balls... That seaweed stuff people usually wrap around riceballs
is nasty - Joltz
Philip:
I like the seaweed wrap. I bought some of the sheets of that stuff and
ate them just like that. MMm... weedy.
Why
am i never in your viral speak anymore?
ARE
YOU TOO COOL FOR DARK TERRAN!?
hm..
ok!
MY
MILK TURNED PURPLE WHEN THE GOAT DRANK IT. - Dark TERRAN
Philip:
I'm not too cool for you...
I
can see it now... DMG Ice Winamp Skins! ^_^ - Axem Blue
Philip:
Hmmm....
BULBASAUR
DOES NOT SUCK! - Mankind
Philip:
Bulbasaur r0X0r$ your @$$!!
Bad
news on the gumbo. IGN is changing it's affilliate(sp?) thing! They will
no longer pay affialiates for the IGN ads on their sites. And they are
making some other cutbacks. That is what have read on several high
quality(ie: not Daily Radar) game sites. What is up with that? Have you
heard anything anout this? I love IGN, and I hope to be an affiliate with
them some day. This worries me. How will DMG Ice make money? The T-Shirts
can't be making that much money. Although I am buying the Foy and Mafia
one's. Can you make a Virii T? - DreaMaster
Philip:
I can not talk about specifics; but Snowball.com is having trouble. There
is an affiliate program rehaul; but I have not signed on to that new deal
yet. To make sure, I've been gathering up forces and reading over contracts
on other affiliation networks and new advertisers.
