Viral Speak 02-16-2001
Back to the red!! I almost had a heart attack with that Virtual Boy joke. Evil Phil has returned! - M3wThr33Philip: Hehehe.. FINALLY! After long (well, like 30 minutes) pondering, I have been able to make a party of Super Alternate Pokémon! What I mean is, you can now get the sparkly PKMN easily! Here's how:Philip: Hmm... My code didn't make the Viral Speak work. I feel sad now. - RamziPhilip: Don't be.. it's not your fault... http://www.depaul.edu/~sleigh1/study.html#foyPhilip: Actually the name Foy popped into my head for some reason; but in an earlier Viral Speak.. I found the Flight by Foy website. (Different one) and posted it up in here. When I found the Flight by Foy site.. I was like.. "WOAH!". Flight by Foy also does concerts as well as Broadway. O_O After reading the AWESOME content on this site tonight, along with the great fan-fiction and kickbutt stuff from Josh (The Icebox rules!!), I kinda wish I found this site along time ago. You really have something wonderful going on here, and I hope everything keeps advancing at this rate. I have yet to find a site that brings me so much joy, and makes me feel like the people running it are everyday people that love gaming. The fact that you have chosen Gameboy gaming as the focus of your site is so cool. I am a fan of the Gameboy, and always look forward to what they can do with the system. I bought Donkey Kong Country the day it was released, just to see how the GBC could pull it off, and I am looking forward to Dragons Lair. I am actually looking forward to the GBA more then any system due to be released this year. I cant wait to see the stuff they are gonna do with that thing! Well I guess I just wanted to say keep up the good work, and ask you one question. Are you gonna add a fan-art section to the site anytime soon? I've got some drawings I'd like to send in. If you would like to e-mail me, you can do so at darrell_hinkle@hotmail.com.thanks Phil. - Darrell HinklePhilip: Sweet! Actually, in Area DMG we had something like fan art for a while.. I'm thinking of doing a dedicated fan art thing soon. But.. OUI! I have so much to do! I will find a way though. Glad you like the site. ^_^ Hey Phil, are you into Dance Dance Revolution? I found that game in an arcade here in Tucson and I just love it. You made a reference to dancing to "In The Navy", a song that is in Dance Dance,in your Metal Gear Solid 2 Oddish feature so I was wondering. Its a great game and if you havnt gotten to play it yet you should definatly treat yourself to it. - Xion511Philip: Actually.. I've been playing the brand new, unreleased sequel.. "Sleep Sleep Opression" Middy: Hello all! This is the MMXtreme salutation!Philip: ..... This isn't witty or funny or anything, but I just wanted everyone to know I haven't deserted the place. I've been in and out of the hospital and having tests or doctor appts. every day since last Monday. I get to have a heart test on Valentines day! Actually they thought I had a heart attack and spent a while hooked up to all kinds of stuff, but it wasn't a heart attack. It's something with the heart but they don't know what yet. Jeeez. It's always something. Things like this are unusuall in a 36 yr. old, but they do happen. The nurses were pretty upset when I came in because they had a 28 yr old with the same thing die last week. Well, I haven't been able to work on my site or even play my gameboy...but I guess it will still be there when I get back. Hope to see everyone soon. - pikamomPhilip: Get well soon! I no longer complain about the election-I really stopped caring after about a week. The reason Gore kept begging for recounts? He has Teamster and Mafia backings. He wasn't dumb enough to give up. He wanted to live. Bush as President? The next four years will be bliss.Philip: Tenchi is a comedy/action series. Same as Pokemon.... They really need to get the damn Tenchi Muyo movies on Toonami.. okay.. I know.. heavy swimsuit painting.. but hey... Oh, well.. Nee! - KnightWhoSaysNeePhilip: Movies made by an odd British comedic traveling group are a poor basis for establishing a Viral Speak. ;P So Phil, how many copies of "Super Real Mahjong" can I put ya down for? *snicker* - Import GuyPhilip: One for me and one for Akemi. It's got two player mode right? HmmmmmmmmmPhilip: You know.. this one is really lame. You can do better. ;) Well, Valentine's Day is almost upon us and with this holiday of love comes my sweet baby's birthday.Philip: Well.. Happy Belated Birthday to Baby Rend!! The Chu Chu mice have taken over my brain.Philip: Now.. imagine when we can take that WITH us on the go... God save us all!!!! We're all going to SUFFER!!! The horror! THE HORROR! chu Hey der, everyone.Philip: Blatant plugs for everyone! I think the soundtrack for the new F-Zero game for GBA should be comprised of Skinny Puppy songs. Imagine racing futuristic vehicles to the sounds of Spasmolytic ;).Philip: The Arcade one rocked.. I would like to see it on GBA. I mean.. it's four players in the Arcade.. and it was GOOD. I think Konami made it; but I'm not sure. $eeing a$ Digital Ecip$e enjoy$ porting over arcade game$ like Dragon'$ Lair to GBC.. I hope they $ee fit to try a port of that arcade game to GBA. Ah, rants... how I missed 'em. Here's something to trigger the next one:Philip: Was this the CNN (Time Warner/Aol/National Democratic Association) recount? Or the Lewis Farakhan recount? Who ever does the recounts by HAND is going to be biased about it. The computer recounted the votes before. In fact they did two computer recounts. Leave it at that. although.. I'm eager to recount those votes. Because I feel that Florida really belongs to Tatanga. As does the rest of the nation! Raptor:Just a note to all my loyal fans (all 3 of them) that I'm still working on the talk show. After the whole Pikachu incident, I had to fire most of the staff. The director managed to figure out a way to keep her job (*BEEP*!) and how she did I really don't want to say. Right now, I'm still trying to find a vic...I mean guest for the show. Hmm...maybe Clinton...oh yeah, which reminds me. This should come as aPhilip: Did that get cut off? If you want to do a DIRECT Viral Speak.. just send me an e-mail. Well, I wasn't going to post it because it looked cut off; but look up in the first few lines. Note how here is someone with a radically different view of the Recounts. One that's more mathamatically plausible; but still.. a HAND recount is theft for who ever it actually succeeds in defeating. Because, people are biased. You see, that's just the way it is. If you wanted an unbiased opinion.. you could hand-cuff Perot and Nader together to a chair (They might actually like that.. O_O) and make THEM recount those. ;P speaking of virtual boy, didja ever play red alarm? that game was awesome!!! a mix of descent, star fox, and battlezone (but in red)fun game, fun fun game... cool music, graphics... were ok, but they were 3d, and that made up for it, and I loved the hidden "virtual boy" in the first level, and the way there was all that matrix-like text (yet red) that appears on the screen with various phrases which would sell the virtual boy and stuff... see, now that game shoulda been the first released one, that went in the demo units... then the system would have sold, for sure! - Allison-AxePhilip: I own that game! It's awesome! Sega + Gameboy Advance= AWESOME!! Think about how cool it would be to get some portable Phatasy Star loving on the GBA. Or how aboot Altered Beast, eh? I think its cool that you are buying a DC Phil. That reaffirms my faith that great gameplay matters more to some then silly hype. Cause with the PS2, people have seem to be swollowing it up like shrimp at a free buffet, forgeting that the games make the system and right now the PS2 doesnt have many good ones (if any). It strikes me as a bit funny that we live in a world that would allow a system with so many awesome games to languish on the shelves, while a system with such crap as Gameday 2001 and well, pretty much everything on it so far, excels. Sure they will be graced with some Sega titles in the future, but why are the PS2 fans so interested in them? If they find Sega games so entertaining why didnt the just buy a Dreamcast? Its apathy like that that causes me to be a bit afraid of the future of gaming in general I know not everyone can afford all the systems out there, but if the games interest you, why take a wait and see attitude? If we do that everytime a new system comes out, then its gonna be tough for any of them to stay afloat. Sorry for the rant there, I just get sick when I go to PS2 oriented sites and see the editors wish lists for Sega games they would like to see for the PS2, or about how much they love Sega games. God forbid they actually buy a Sega system!!! - Cyberxion101Philip: You see.. umm.. actually... umm.. damn. I have nothing to say to add on to that. You have truly made a point I can't debate. But... wait! I'll be the devil's advocate here for a moment. Or rather, a Funco Land Sales Associate. Bear with me. *ahem* "Why not buyDreamcast? Because it suxs!1111!! YeAh i saidit suxs lkie that sucking thing mah momma hand to do to put I in skool.! PS2 rocxsss!!!!11 it;s a bazilllions of times mroe better then Lame Cube and sucXBox and thay made that Finla Fantasys movees o it!!!111 That whats I told and I knuw! Nad Pokemon sucxs!!111 Nintendoi is makes only games 4 kidz and I 39 years old and momma says I smaht 'nough to vote! PS2 rocxxssss lik Gore rocxssss!!! Sega maked gamez for PS2; but they r goodd ONLY ;cause theys on PS2!!!! Not Dreamcrap which makes none moire powers then SONY!!!" Man, I could feel the brain cells dying. I don't know how the Senate can do that all day and remain sane. Oh, never mind. |
