Graphics: Suck
Storyline: The fact that the cute girls are named for sweet foods kind of made me forget why I was travelling around the world.
Control: Interesting. I like it.
Plot: Something new to do in each area
Balance: YOu don't have to spend as much time gaining levels as in Final Fantasy 3 (6). I like it. The battles are fun and not to frequent.

The Xbox is getting the same 'Shiny thing' mentality hype the PS2 did/is. It's the game system quote 'everyone' seems to want. I won't lie. I honestly hope the thing chokes, and that the breakup of Microsoft hurts its release. Great graphics are all and well, but that doesn't define the system. It's the games. You can have all the photo-realistic crap in the world, but if the games suck, then it's technology used in vain. I've seen some video of the first wave of xbox software, and frankly, I can't tell the difference between that and a dreamcast or gamecube. If you feel like you have to wait in line for the Xbox or for a new shipment of PS2s, go ahead, but as for me, I'll be clutching my Gamecube and GBA reserve tickets, and playing Dreamcast, waiting on and playing systems I know for a fact, hold the true spirit of the gamer. - PTT
