Virtual Console™ on Wii U™
EarthBound – The beloved Super NES™ role-playing game is now available on the Virtual Console service for the Wii U console. The Earth faces imminent destruction by the evil Giygas, and can only be saved by a courageous boy named Ness and his three brave friends. Battle hundreds of off-the-wall monsters, roaming dinosaurs and alien enemies, meet a giant cast of memorable characters and journey to exotic locations like Saturn Valley, Dusty Dunes Desert and Deep Darkness.

Nintendo eShop on Wii U
The Smurfs2 – One of the summer's top animated films is now a fun video game. The evil wizard Gargamel has kidnapped Smurfette and taken her to Paris. It's up to Papa Smurf and friends to save the day and bring Smurfette home safe. The Smurfs 2 will be available on July 23.

Virtual Console on Nintendo 3DS™
Shantae – When the nefarious pirate Risky Boots catches wind of the treasure that was recently unearthed in the village of Scuttle, she launches an attack. To get Scuttle out of trouble, it's up to the genie Shantae to save the day using her dancing and hair-whipping abilities. Learn Dance Magic to get new attacks, and battle your way through multiple unique locations in this classic 2D side-scrolling platformer, originally released for Game Boy™ Color.

THE "DENPA" MEN 2: Beyond the Waves - Demo Version – The demo version of THE "DENPA" MEN 2 Beyond the Waves is now available. Find and catch the Denpa Men to form a party, and take them on an exciting adventure to save the hero's family. Many wonders and strong enemies await you on your journey.

Nintendo eShop Sale
Puddle – Dive into Puddle, a game unlike any other. Players guide a puddle of fluid by tilting the environment to the left or right using the Wii U GamePad controller. Play carefully while taking friction, gravity and temperature into account in a range of beautiful environments. Download the game in the Nintendo eShop on Wii U at a discounted price of $4.49 until 9 a.m. PT on Aug. 1.

In addition to video games available at retail stores, Nintendo also offers a variety of content that people can download directly to their systems. Nintendo adds new titles weekly to the Nintendo eShop for the Wii U system as well as the Nintendo 3DS and Nintendo 3DS XL systems, to the Nintendo DSi™ Shop for the Nintendo DSi system and to the Wii™ Shop Channel for the Wii console.

The Nintendo eShop is a cash-based service and features games, applications and videos. Users can add money to their account balance by using a credit card or by purchasing a Nintendo Prepaid Card at a retail store and entering the code from the card. All funds from one card must be redeemed in either the Wii U eShop or the Nintendo 3DS eShop, respectively. They are not transferable and cannot be divided between the two systems.

The Wii Shop Channel offers games and applications and uses Wii Points™, which can be purchased via the Wii Shop Channel. The Nintendo DSi Shop offers games and applications and uses Nintendo DSi Points™, which can be purchased in the Nintendo DSi Shop. A Wii Points Card™ and Nintendo DSi Points Card™ can be purchased at retail locations. All points from one card must be redeemed in either the Wii Shop Channel or the Nintendo DSi Shop, respectively. They are not transferable and cannot be divided between the two systems.
